Sería mas fácil utilizar el capo, pero entonces ya no sonaría a Frusciante, sin duda es un muy buen recurso para no machacar la musculatura de la mano izquierda sobre todo si no te importa copiar el sonido sino que únicamente pretendes tocar la canción de manera aproximada y ya. Qun y así deberías de haber sido más cuidadoso ya que hay un Fmaj7#11 en la última sección del tema que aunque se puede hacer con otra digitación rompes el voicing de los acordes si usas un capotraste. Y todo esto lo digo porque parece que insinúas que Frusciante pretende complicarse sin motivo aparente y en ese aspecto no coincido con tu criterio, todo dicho desde el maximo respeto.

I have trigger thumb and trigger finger. The finger gets stuck and pops and is painful. Do you think TMS can cause this? I understand TMS can cause pain but can it make the finger lock up?

I've been watching your other videos and I find them confusing, nobody ever plays vertically down and on the other side the diagram plays vertically up, it just hurts my brain. In this video, I understand immediately and see everything, can you please make more videos like this one, this is the formula we all want to see, thanks.

Hi, I was looking at your online courses, but I’m not too sure which one would be best for me! I have a basic understanding of the CAGED cord shapes and the 5 minor pentatonic scales that correspond to the shapes. I use to have a old fretboard logic book

Interesting lesson. I’ve played for over 50 years and haven’t thought about (or had any issues with) strumming, in decades. But I’m about to turn 62 and I’m starting to have issues with my right hand/forearm muscles. They’re not as flexible as they used to be, and they start to tighten up or even cramp when I try to strum quickly. Especially with fast all-down strumming patterns like any song by the Ramones, or Black Sabath’s “Paranoid.” Obviously, these songs aren’t “funky,” but your work out patterns seem like they could help. Thanks.

It’s the CAGED system he’s talking about here. Instead of playing in the “G” box like so many do, he’s using the “A” box too… Feel like this is something John Mayer would have 100% used throughout his career

i met John's Guitar teacher many years ago he bought my 1956 Gretsch Round up Amp. He told me he was his teacher I had never heard of John Mayer, he told me that he one time played in Helen Reddy's band I believe. He drove from NYC to Hartfod Conn. I drove from Boston and met him We did a swap plus cash for that Class A Gretsch amp the big one

I am in the process of improving my singing skills but for the time being I am more accurate/expressive whistling at times. Can anything wrote with whistling the melodies and then playing them on the guitar?

Sometimes i feel like im the only young person who loves blues as much as i do i really hope i meet some people who understand how it blues makes me feel

POW MUSIC, The Minor Pentatonic box#1 has the albert king house of blues box, also the BB king House of blues box. The MAJOR Pentatonic box#5 (which looks just like Minor pentatonic box#1 just 3 frets shifted down ) also has two extension House of Blues Shape Boxes, which you should make a lesson lesson about them because Clapton uses them often in Cream ere and SRV used them in tin pan alley and little wing. The two extension house of blues shape boxes aren't the albert king or BB king house of blues because we are now "shifted 3 frets down" , so the albert king house of blues and BB king house of blues have been "shifted 3 frets down" which SRV used in little wing and Tin pan alley plus Clapton uses them in Cream live concerts.

Hi Gary, great transcription but would you consider making a video suited for left-handed players? And ideally shooting the live video from the player's POV so it matches the tab and fretboard animations (ie. high e string on top). I'd buy the lesson but I can't quite wrap my brain around it, even after decades of trying with these righty perspectives. Thanks.
